Nepenthes veitchii var. Pink

Nepenthes Veitchii var. Pink
Nepenthes vetichii var. Pink is certainly a striking plant.  It is named after the famous British horticulture institution Veitch Nurseries, which was integral in the discovery of so many orchids and carnivorous plants.  The pitcher's peristome flares dramatically while displaying a brilliant yellow laced with veins of startling orange.  As one looks inward, the throat of the pitcher echoes those colors, the orange manifesting in tiny dots and splotchs on a yellow background. The body of the pitcher sets of the brighter colors of the peristome with a mellow peach color.
